Gap conductance in Abaqus

Gap conductance in Abaqus

(OP)
Hello,
Does anyone understand the options for gap conductance in Abaqus? I have a heat transfer model which has a plastic cover attached to an aluminum housing and I want to setup a gap conductance between the cover and housing. I have created the command with a value for the thermal conductivity but I am wondering if I can use a heat transfer value also. See my commands for gap conductance below:

*GAP CONDUCTANCE
**conductivity, gap, average temp., flow rate
2.8000E-04, 0.0 , 45.0 , 0.474
0.0 , 1.0 , 45.0 , 0.0

Is flow rate the heat transfer rate? How should I determine the average temperature?

Any help is appreciated.

Greg....
