Detail Arc

Not sure when Detail Editing changed. But, you could use to double click on the detail arc that is around the area you want to detail. And, then, you could change the position and size of the arc. Is this still available? Or, did they get rid of this function?

Thanks,

Richard

RE: Detail Arc

What version of NX are you on?

RE: Detail Arc

(OP)
I'm on NX 9.0.

RE: Detail Arc

To change the boundary location or size, RMB over the boundary -> Boundary -> pick center point (if moving) or boundary edge (if resizing) and release RMB (don't hold the MB down) -> adjust boundary by dragging

RE: Detail Arc

The process has changed a little. Right click on the detail view and choose "boundary"; click on the circle in the parent view to resize it (the first click will give you a "rubber banding" circle, the next click will set the size) or click on the center point to edit, 2nd click to set new point location.

Thanks all! That works! Sorry, I haven't been on UG for a while. Thanks for getting me up to speed on Detail Views!
