ANSYS Workbench error at software start - 'Unknown Error'

(OP)
Hello,

I am using Ansys Workbench 14.5.0

It was working without any problems till today morning. I tried to install an extension [https://www.bpsolutions.com.pl/pdfpost/pdfpost-lit...] in afternoon using Extensions > Install Extension Option. The extension didn't work and I deleted it. But now when I start Ansys Workbench it gives the message box shown in Image 1. I have to click on 'Ok' twice to get rid of the message box and use Ansys Workbench.

Also, I went to Extensions > Manage Extensions option to see if I can solve the above trivial issue there. When I select Manage Extensions option, it returns the message shown in Image 2.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Regards,
Sushant

Hello,

The following helped to get rid of the problem-

Delete C:\Users\<your_name>\AppData\Local\Ansys\*, C:\Users\<your_name>\AppData\Roaming\Ansys\*

Sushant
