Pressure Washers in Pumps

(OP)
Thank you for your time

It is recommendable or must to install a pressure washer in the foundation of the pump with their anchor bolts. There is a standard or recommeded practice that say something about this. I'm asking for the foundation, the other issued is about shims, the shims to lift up the skid have a thickness of de one inch and a half, and their edges are sharp, please if you know more about this or more datails let me know.

the power of the Motor is 200 Kw coupled with a pump.

Thanks.

RE: Pressure Washers in Pumps

bimr is correct in advising to contact then manufacturer or their agent. You are talking about a 200kw drive and disaster happens very quickly at this power level.

RE: Pressure Washers in Pumps

garciaf,
That looks like a pretty solid base frame. Appears to me that all you need to do is grout it up. Don´t worry too much about vendor recommendations now that you have arrived at this point. In these cases engineers rely too much on pedantic vendor details. Many pumps that size operate on skids that you pull around (e.g. minerals sands plants).... therefore so long as the pump is bolted to the baseplate, and the baseplate is stable, you will be fine. Just grout it up and move on to your next task. Good job.

RE: Pressure Washers in Pumps

The next task being to ensure the pump / driver are aligned correctly after bolting down the baseplate.
