One Way Valves

One Way Valves

(OP)
Does anyone know where I could find a one way Duck bill valve. They are used for drinking liquid from plastic tubes.
It is rubber and has a slit that when compressed with the teeth will alow the liquid to flow.
Thanks in advance for your help!

RE: One Way Valves

Is this valve like those now being sold with drinking cups from fast food venders? My kids love those things!

Thanks for your help! I found duck bill valves. Now I am searching for a better price.
These valves are not used in cups.
Have a wonderful Day!

RE: One Way Valves

What goes around, comes around. Here it is a year and a half latter and I am also looking for an inexpensive duck bill valve for drinking/dispensing liquids. Needs to be cheap (read disposable) and available in quantities of millions.

RE: One Way Valves

Vernay Laboratories specializes in duckbill valves.  They also will custom mold should you need them to.  Their corporate headquarters is located in Yellow Springs, Ohio (near Dayton, OH) and their website is www.vernay.com. ; Their phone number is (937) 767-7261.  They have numerous materials, making one out of silicone for potable water applications.

RE: One Way Valves

I just came across this service while surfing the web for duckbill check valves and surprise!, Duckbills even have their own thread!
I have found that duckbill valves are a specialty with only a handfull of players world wide. You may want to try Minivalve International. They specialize in small elastomeric valves. Very experienced, very dedicated. They have a standard product line including duckbills but will also do custom development and application/flowtesting.

Minivalve is from Europe and have a US agent in Yellow Springs, OH. Their website is www.minivalve.com, e-mail info@minivalve.com, Phone number 1-800-704-9679
