Residential PV Line Connections without meter

Residential PV Line Connections without meter

(OP)
How can you verify that all the consumption of your PV system connected on the line sidde is being absorbed at the bus bar without having a meter? I assume using kirchoff's current law that you can verify it is but what is holding it back from backfeeding the system? This is just making me think, I would think you would like a meter and then net meter from the PV production and the utility consumption.

Any explanation will be appreciated.

RE: Residential PV Line Connections without meter

you need a meter. how else would you know the output of the PV? the sunlight - thus kW output varies constantly.
