How do you use dehumidifiers?

How do you use dehumidifiers?

(OP)
Problem Statement:  What is the proper way to dry out a concrete slab using a dehumidifier?

I am looking for ways to use a dehumidifier to dry out the concrete slab in my house.  I have heard a couple of different ways to run the dehumidifiers.

Method 1

Seal off the house completely, run the machine for 3 days.

Method 2

Seal off the house completely, vent the dehumidifier exhaust outside
and run the machine for 2-3 months

Method 3

Leave the house open and run the dehumidifiers for 3-4 weeks but not vent the
exhaust outside.

Any help on this would be great. Also, if you know of machines that work the
best or how to get them, that too would be very helpful.
