Petroleum Refinery integrated with Petrochemical complex has its own captive power plant(CPP-Cogeneration).CPP generates and distribute power and steam to the refinery and petrochemical complex.Which is the appropriate method to calculate the Heat rate and steam cost which gives the true and real weightage to the steam generation and power generation.Is it the exergy method or enthalpy method ?
