NX CAE Stress Wizard License Required?

NX CAE Stress Wizard License Required?

NX CAE Stress Wizard License Required?

(OP)
Hello All,

I could run NX CAE Stress Wizard by going to the left resource toolbar=>process studio=>NX CAE Stress Wizard.
After I had done the stress simulation, I saved the simulation file xxx.sim and closed the file.

After that, when I tried to open this simulation file again, NX gave me license bundle error. Unable to open the file.

Is that meant I need to have the NX CAE Stress Wizard license in order to re-open any saved simulation files?
I read on other thread, John Baker was saying NX CAE Stress Wizard should be available free for all bundles.

We have the NX CADCAM 3 Axis Mill Foundation license.

Thanks,
Bryant

RE: NX CAE Stress Wizard License Required?

The NX CADCAM 3 Axis Mill Foundation has a stress wizard license (you can't run the wizard with out it).
However to open the simulation after you've saved it, you need to have a Design Simulation or Advanced Simulation license.
With those licenses, you can then do more than what Stress Wizard is able to do.
