Wind Pressure On Wind Turbine Monopile

Wind Pressure On Wind Turbine Monopile

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to apply the wind pressure on the monopile of onshore wind turbine in abaqus. The wind pressure is governing based on the following formulae:

P= 0.025*ln(20z)*(ln(20z)+7), where z is the height of the monopile and in total is equal to 50 meters.

I have used the analytical field when applying pressure in abaqus and I have written the following equation:

(0.025*log10(20*(50-z ))*(log10(20*(50- z))+7)) with the magnitude of 1.

Please could you tell me whether this is correct?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Aryan

Request field output variable P and check the applied load by yourself.
