RESULTS IN ETABS VS RAM

RESULTS IN ETABS VS RAM

RESULTS IN ETABS VS RAM

(OP)
I have modeled the same building (Which is a Concrete structure) in ETABS and RAM with the exact same loading. However the dead load reaction seems to vary by as much as 20% between the two programs (Used results from RAM Frame). While I have not checked the live load reaction, I was expecting the results to be closer than this. Does the difference in meshing produce such results. I have verified that the two models exactly match each other in terms of geometry, structural element properties and loading.

Can anyone shed some light as to why the results seem to differ. Is it due to different mesh being used in the programs?
Appreciate all answers. Thank you.

What does a load run down by hand tell you?
