Low memory problem

Low memory problem

Low memory problem

(OP)
Hello,

I have been running co simulation in abaqus of a rotor but after running for about 0.8 seconds where the analysis take about 12 hours it shuts down showing error like memory problem with warning window popping up.
I am using 64 bit system with 8 GB RAM and I have plenty of memory. The analysis consumed only around 500 MB. I also dont have spaces in directory either if it causes problems. So if anayone have encountered similar problem and solved it, then please help me with this.
I have attached the image below for viewing.

RE: Low memory problem

Have you tried to run on a fresh reboot with nothing else running? It sounds like you might have something else that's a memory leak. While running keep track of the task manager periodically.

Did you check out the DAT, MSG and STA files also?

I hope this helps.

Hello Rob,

I checked all the files it turns out I did not apply rotational boundary condition for a cylinder in CFD. But I could not find any rotational option in boundary condition in Abaqus CFD. So is there a way to apply rotational boundary conditon in Abaqus CFD ? so that my turbine will rotate with FSI. It will rotate along the rotating mesh in CFD so if you know how to rotate a mesh in CFD please let me know.
