Hi guys.

Anyone knows how to create semieliptical crack as the one in the attached photo? I'm having a problem with sketching on a curved surface. I need to make a circles on both crack edges to make a partition later on but I don't know how to do it. Anyone have any ideas?

yes something like that but I need to use hexagonal type of elements. How did you managed to sketch on curved surface?
