Strange line on a sketch

Strange line on a sketch

Strange line on a sketch

(OP)
Hello!

I'm looking for an answer about NX 9.0, I've a document with an strange line that I don´t know from where is it, my problem is when I try to convert my document to a .pdf this line are still in there and I dont't want it.
I tried in so many ways like see on the sketch and erase the line or put the lines off bye changing their colour but the lines don't go away, somebody know how can I erase this lines once and for all or how can I hide this line from my .pdf document.

Thank's in advance.

RE: Strange line on a sketch

sadly it is almost impossible to answer without looking at the partfile itself.

If you select this line, then press "Ctrl+I", what does NX say about this line ?

Can you delete the line ?

Regards,
Tomas

RE: Strange line on a sketch

Like Tomas pointed out, there are a plethora of things that might be causing this. If you cannot select the line(s), and if you are using any point on curve or colinear constraints, they might be the culprit(s). Choose to not show your geometric constraints before creating the PDF.

The problem is when a want to erase the lines, first of all I can't selected it, the only way I can is press "Ctrl + j" and then select de lines but the only thing I can do is change their colour.

In drafting module when I do my drawing I can't erase the lines only can change the colour and when I convert to .pdf the lines stills in there.

I'll show what it is the problem...

thanks

Hello Tim,

I already did that, but the problem still in there, I uploaded a document with the problem.

I did everything, like select the line with Ctrl + J, I... Then I've been looking for all the document if it is a piece or something inside of a sketch but no.

If you can see the .pdf i think you can realized what the problem is.

thank you in advance..

RE: Strange line on a sketch

Clean up your reference set Model (Which is most probably used on your drawing).
Make sure the lines you don't want to see are not selected in that reference set.
