Part Navigator in NX 8.0 and Expression Lists

Part Navigator in NX 8.0 and Expression Lists

RE: Part Navigator in NX 8.0 and Expression Lists

Unfortunately that function is working as designed, just that it's poorly designed. If you read carefully it does say that 'User Defined' expression names will appear in the list, period. Granted, I think that's a bit shortsighted as it make it really hard to expose what are often the desired expressions. I always advocated that the user should have explicit control over WHAT expressions are included in the list, irrespective of whether they were user-defined or created automatically when a feature was defined. I think that would be the best approach, leave it to the user, period. That being said, please contact GTAC and have them open an ER to that effect as I think you'll agree that this would be the best approach, all things considered.
