can someone give me link where to get a good go-by for 6 foot wood fence with barb wire also with wood gate. we only have steel fence standard. wood fence gate is 16' wide for vehicle.

any idea how to connect this barb wire to wood post? I can have plate on top of wood post and bolt the extension arm of barb wire.

but how does this work, client needs to buy modified extension arm for the fence?

RE: wood fence standard

it looks like "barbarm" comes with holes on the plate so I can just screw this.

RE: wood fence standard

I'd probably have two plates come down the outer face of the post so that you can put a pair of through bolts in. Realistically, though, you should look for a product that does what you want. I'm sure someone out there makes barbed wire arms for wood posts.

RE: wood fence standard

I'd delegate this as the responsibility of the contractor and not waste any time on it. These get built all the time and a dedicated fence subcontractor will know exactly which options are available and which one is the cheapest.
