Regarding dimensions in sketch in Part Modelling in NX 8.5
Regarding dimensions in sketch in Part Modelling in NX 8.5
(OP)
Hi,
In sketch, If i change my dimension, the sketch is updated but the dimension remains at the old location. Is there any way the dimension also moves with the updated sketch?
Step 1: I create a rectangle of width 30 mm from the origin at a distance of from 50 mm
[
Step 2: I change the dimension from 50 mm to 500 mm, the width : 30 mm still remains at the old location. It does not move with the sketch

And do a screen proportional zooming so that
The text and arrows be nice to see in any zooming
Or when zoom to fit

FYI, Siemens has already addressed this - Sketch Settings has an option for Fixed Text Height on Screen. Turning this ON will force the entire dimension to auto-adjust based on zoom scale; turning it OFF, the dimensions remain a fixed height regardless of the zoom scale.
