Load Distribution Slab for Steel Girder Bridge

Load Distribution Slab for Steel Girder Bridge

(OP)
I have to design a reinforced load distribution pad to support the point loads from two steel girders and I am concerned about the bearing capacity of the soil. The slab is supported by an AIL bolt-a-bin abutment. The SLS bearing capacity of the native soil is 80 kPa. I can't find any resources for determining how the load from the girder bearing pads will be distributed through a) my concrete distribution slab and b) through the bolt-a-bin fill. I've been reading through the PCA Concrete Floors on Ground and ACI Guide to Design of Slabs-on-Ground but neither seems to be completely relevant.
