limited replacement of surfaces in NX10

limited replacement of surfaces in NX10

limited replacement of surfaces in NX10

(OP)
I have a surface model based on offsets of a base surface. As the design has evolved i need some of the offsets to be run off of an additional base surface.

Is there a way to replace the original base surface with the new one but only effecting a select few of driven surfaces leaving some of the offsets still driven by the original surface.

i have delved into the replace command, but this seems to expect you to be replacing for everything.

thanks for the help

Rob

RE: limited replacement of surfaces in NX10

You can simply edit the Offset command by pressing [Shift} while selecting the original surface (to deselect it from the command) and then select the new surface after that.

And keeping in mind that the "new surface" being selected MUST have a creation 'timestamp' PRIOR to the creation 'timestamp' of the Offset feature being edited.
