Hello All,
I want to deign an sliding in (Snap fit , lancing and forming combination) for one of requirement . i got few ideas for snap design / profile but i am not getting any idea how to calculate the sheet deflection and other stuff to validate my deign.
i would like to know if there are any standard set of design guidelines for sheet metal snaps / lance similar to plastic snaps design.

Try using the spring back allowances in the bend formulas.
