NX9 - Family Part Attribute Question

NX9 - Family Part Attribute Question

NX9 - Family Part Attribute Question

(OP)
I have a Family Part that when I create the parts, the file names come out simply as ATB12345.prt When they should be created as atb12345.f01.0010.

The only difference I notice in the spreadsheet is in our other family parts that work correctly the first column is DB_PART_NO and the one that is not working right has a first column Part_Name. I do not know if this is what is causing the problem or not, but I cant figure out how to change that to test it.

Anyone else run into this in the past?

PS
It might help to know that this file was a save as from a much older file. Not sure how many years ago.

RE: NX9 - Family Part Attribute Question

(OP)
I found one way to fix this. I had to delete the spread sheet and recreate it. It then added the two standard attributes at the top automatically. This caused another problem altogether which I will add in a new thread because it doesnt have anything to do with this particular problem.
