Single Shot particle Impact analysis using ABAQUS
Single Shot particle Impact analysis using ABAQUS
(OP)
Dear all,
I am performing a Contact mechanics problem. In which I am not able to simulate the problem. It would be kind of you if you could help me with this.
I tried a lot of ways to perform but still I could not do it.
It would be really really kind of you if you could help me with this.
I have attached the .cae file.
Thank You

If your looking for someone to do your work for you, it's doubtful you will find it. Not for free anyway. If you want to try to put in some serious effort, I'm sure you'll get some good responses from the helpful folks on this forum.

I am designing a model of shot peening with a single shot.
I want to see the deformation caused by the particle when the shot interact with the target.
I have designed and analysed many a times but I am always getting an error of element getting distorted, and the ratio of the deformation speed exceed 1.0000 in at least one element.
I have attached the new .cae and the .inp files.

I don't have much specific to add, except that you should use the theory manual to look for any similar types of contact problems that you can find. Be really thorough in looking through that and compare to what you have.
