I have a sheet of electrical symbols used in JIC "Ladder" type diagrams and a referal to the specific standard EMP-1.

I am under the impression that the JIC no longer exists and has been taken over by another standards org.

Does anyone actually know if this is the case and what the actual story is.

Secondly...are there standard symbols for combustion control systems or are they the same as standard electrical cymbols.
