Matlab -> Excel -> NX Parameter optimisation?

Matlab -> Excel -> NX Parameter optimisation?

Matlab -> Excel -> NX Parameter optimisation?

(OP)
Hi,

I have got a matlab code which writes a number of values onto an existing spreadsheet. I am then using UG_Cell_Read to use these expressions as the driving dimensions for a parametric model.

However using UG_Cell_Read the expressions do not update automatically in NX if the value in the referenced cell changes? Is it possible to reference the cell in an associative manner?

I would also like to be able to move data the other way. For example being able to read data from NX expressions such that matlab operations can be performed on it. Is it possible access expression data in a manner that is associative? For example if I were to export the expressions to excel these would not update if the expressions within NX changed?

Thanks in advance,
Dan
