CWELD Output

CWELD Output

(OP)
Hello,
I am trying to learn how to model CWELD elements as a connection between two 2D meshes. Created a simple model. Top & bottom plate with congruent meshes and CWELD was created using ALIGN (Elem-ELem by specifying GA & GB manually). CWELD is of 2024-T3 material and dia is 0.197".

The top plate is fixed and the bottom plate is subjected to an axial load.

The setup is shown below:

I have selected GPFB in the output request and when I the run the analysis, the run is successful.

When I access the results, I can see Weld Axial, Weld Bearing, Weld Max and a bunch of output vectors associated with Weld/Connectors but when I click on it & say apply, I get nothing. An error message says "There are no results associated with the targeted entities".

Am I doing anything wrong? This is my first run with CWELD. The deformation pattern is along the expected lines.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks
