Visualization Problem

Visualization Problem

Visualization Problem

(OP)
Hello,
I am trying to model, a simple extruded cylinder with some holes a chamfer and a radius;
I am able to create the features but I am not able to visualize the model correctly;
Something similar happened with some other parts, on which I am not able to visualize correctly the hole model.

- I think that I have a set up correctly the Visualization Preferences, but I don’t know what to change.

Attached you will find images describing the issue, and two more images with the visualization preferences that I considered relevant, let me know if you need any other information.

Thank you.

RE: Visualization Problem

Do you know if your settings are set to Solid Bodies instead of Sheet Bodies ?
It appears to me like you are unknowingly creating sheet bodies.

Could you tell me how can I check this setting?

Thank you.

RE: Visualization Problem

I am on a different version of NX than you, but you need to find where the modeling preferences are.

RE: Visualization Problem

I would guess that this is a graphics issue.
Are you using a certified graphics card?
Can you , when the display looks as in picture 2 RMB in the graphics window - Update Display , - and it becomes ok ?
Try install the Siemens recommended graphics driver.

Regards,
Tomas
