ANSYS displacement constraint

ANSYS displacement constraint

ANSYS displacement constraint

(OP)
Good day,

I wonder if there is a way to limit the resultant movement on a surface in ANSYS. I am working with 3D components in the static structural workbench.

For example I have a 90 degree "L" shape pipe line, and in both lines a left a space considering an expansion joint that will absorb the thermal growth, I know the capabilities of these expansion joints, so I want to constrain these spaces to move a maximum displacement equal capabilities of the expansion joints.

Thanks in advance!

P.P.
