Steel Channel with Slender Flanges

Steel Channel with Slender Flanges

(OP)
It appears that AISC-360 does not directly address channels with slender flanges, probably because it states that there are no slender channel shapes. But lets say you have a custom channel size, is there a section in AISC that you would use for this? Or maybe address it using AISI S200 Cold Formed Steel Design?

Thanks!

RE: Steel Channel with Slender Flanges

I'd probably use the 9th edition (i.e. the green book) of AISC. It specifically addresses noncompact channels.
