Thanks but it is not related to rope. Two of these are connected to a rod to allow hanging of objects.

RE: What is this?

Its a support bracket / mounting bracket, as e.g. for curtain rods.

RE: What is this?

Grab rail post or stanchion.

Ted

RE: What is this?

Or for supporting a bar rail, more likely for curtain rods though.

A pair of this is for hanging rod. So, there is no official name?

RE: What is this?

The Perko "Guard Rail Post" is fairly sturdy, and priced accordingly.
Drapery/ curtain hardware like a "hanger" is generally not nearly so sturdy.
Handrail "stanchions" may be short or quite a bit longer.

The name depends on the application, but none of the words in common use maps to a particular style, geometry, material, or load rating with any certainty, so you can't reliably order what you want without a picture and a model number.

RE: What is this?

How about "rod/ towel rail / curtain rod /kitchen utensils rail etc. hanging bracket".

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

RE: What is this?

The difference between the applications comes down to material of construction and strength.
For curtains it would be Zn with a flash coating and it could hold 10-20kg.
The boat rail bracket is Cr plated brass and ti will probably support more like 100-150kg.
