Peel test for Brazed joint as per ASME IX 2015

Hi

our client has requested us to perform peel test on a brazed lap joint. i have never done it before so i have performed 1 test in which i have bend 1 section of the plate. During bending the plate broke at the brazed joint. Now the requirement of ASME IX is to check for discontinuity on the faying surfaces. I have attached 1 photograph in which i have marked the faying surface. Can you guys please guide in the interpretation of the surfaces.

Thanks in advance.

Looking at the one exposed surface to the left shows lack of braze metal wetting and porosity.

So in your opinion the white area is the faying surface and we have to look at that surface for assessment?
