ANSYS APDL Problem

ANSYS APDL Problem

ANSYS APDL Problem

(OP)
Hi

I am trying to run a static model and get the strain energies. However I have faced an error.

The requested SEND data is not available. The PRNSOL command is
ignored.

What does it mean and how can I avoid it?

Thank you

RE: ANSYS APDL Problem

Go to the element manual, look up your element, and check Table xxx.1 to see if the results are available. For instance, for SOLID185, in Table 185.1, is says that SEND is not available in the .OUT file, but is available in the results file, subject to the limitations of note 1. Make sure you have OUTRES,all. Another way to access SEND is with the ETABLE.
