countersunk bolts - Standard

(OP)
Dear;

Good Morning,

Someone who can tell me the American standard for countersunk bolts?

Best regards.

RE: countersunk bolts - Standard

Depends on the drive configuration. Some have 80° countersinks and some have 100° countersinks.

RE: countersunk bolts - Standard

(OP)
It is 83 ° to be exact.

RE: countersunk bolts - Standard

It's ASME/ANSI B18.5
Can also look inside Machinery's Handbook.

RE: countersunk bolts - Standard

Depends on the application. Flush head bolts/screws used in the US aerospace industry are mostly 100deg. Commercial flush head machine bolts/screws are mostly 90deg or 82deg. The common FHCS, like those from Unbrako, are typically 82deg.
