RE: How I can review composite roof and plans submittal
You can only review a submittal vs. the contract documents. If the drawings or specifications said to adhere to IFC, they need to follow IFC. If the contract documents say to meet a certain thickness or windspeed criteria, they need to show they've met them.
But without contract guidance, you can only suggest that they follow some criteria.

I may not make it clear.
as it is the first time for me, the contractor send his submittal attached with the shop drawing for the roof and mezzanine plans.
My question is: How I can look to the drawing to see any thing missing or need to be resubmit.
I took a copy from the IFC and compared to the shop drawing , of course it has more details and dimensions but I still don't know how to look to the drawing and which factors I should focus in to say yes it is approved or no.
I hope it is clear now
is there an option to send you screen shot in private msg to make you and me better understanding?
Thank you

Submittals are the last chance to get it right. Ask the orginal engineer what his/her intent and concerns are. Submittal reviews are a vital step in the design process and even though it's a task given to new engineers, it doesn't mean that it's not important.
Finally, the first time the submittal is sent in, it's often incomplete. The supplier thinks they'll throw something against the wall and see if it sticks. If it's missing, ask.
RE: How I can review composite roof and plans submittal
The problem that I am the only architect on this project, it is new and I have received the first submittal.
So, for me there is no reference as an architect discipline and I have never done any submittal before. Ok is there some slandered factors to review the composite roofs, plans, mezzanine plans or samples?
I did a long search in the internet but I found only factors like dimensions, quantity and materials. These are very common factors and I don/t have materials or quantities. it is only shop drawings plan.
Any more advises, Thanks

My limited understanding of most architectural submittals is to check them against what has been specified (written specs). Tricky part is evaluating one product if the spec is based upon a different product. Make sure you understand the difference between "an alternate" and an "or equal". Dimensions should have been given on the drawings. Answer all questions shown on the submittals. Return marked up submittals in a timely fashion. Don't be afraid to ask for a more re-submittal if there is information missing.
Good luck!
