SPA / DMU sectioning issue

SPA / DMU sectioning issue

SPA / DMU sectioning issue

(OP)
As of today, my DMU (SPA license) sectioning results have changed...and not for the better.
Is there a CATSetting that effects the results of sectioning. Just last week, when I sectioned a CATProduct, each component sectioned in the color of the solid model. Now everything is sectioning in a shade of green, as though I am not using the SPA license. The image on the left is how my sections appeared last week and the image on the right is what I am seeing today. As far as I know, I have not changed any settings.

Also, all the parts in contact appear to be merged together into one solid.

See attached pic

Thanks,

Try playing with the options in:
Tools > Options > Mechanical Design > Assembly Design > DMU Sectioning tab

Also, did you change the background color?
Are you in "Swap visible space"?

I've seemed to have tried everything within the DMU tab and nothing worked.
I have not changed the background color.
Where do I check the "Swap visible space"?

Thanks

RE: SPA / DMU sectioning issue

Also try going to the DMU Sectioning tab and click the button in the lower left that when you mouse over says "Resets parameter values to default ones".

When you're in the process of a section cut there is a button along the bottom of the CATIA toolbar that let's you swap from what's in the visible space to what's in the hidden space. If you click that button usually the background color goes to a light green/blue or turquoise as you have shown in your screen grab.

Rebooted a third time and everything is working fine...
