Reuse - Can't link KRX file to spreadsheet?

Reuse - Can't link KRX file to spreadsheet?

(OP)
Hi,

I am trying to link a reuse part to a spreadsheet via a KRX file. When I select create KRX file the spreadsheet section is greyed out.

Would anybody be able to tell me why this is/how to get around it.

Many Thanks,
Dan

RE: Reuse - Can't link KRX file to spreadsheet?

I've never seen that. Do you have any expressions in the part yet?

If not, that may be the cause.

RE: Reuse - Can't link KRX file to spreadsheet?

I had that once...
It is not working if the part itself already has a spreadsheet or is part of a partfamily...

Thanks, I was playing with a part that was a save as of a part family.

Now that I have deleted the associated part family this seems to work.
