Exactly. No kinematics. See the environment in the video.
It was made with macros and some parametric models. It has the real curve of mechanical press. This was the first step that I have made, but my aim is to simulate transfer dies, with the transfer arms.

macros and parametric models???? Why did you use macro / parametric model ?

to move stuff around I use DMU Nav with tracks and sequence... very easy / rapid. It would take 2 minutes to do the video you made, a bit more if you want to control camera by track also; but still I guess it would be faster than parametric model & script.
