Release process for weld points in NX9 and TC10

Release process for weld points in NX9 and TC10

(OP)
A question about release process when using Weld points

Working with NX9 and TC 10 with Weld Assistant. A known problem exists with NX9 and that is every time when you edit or save, your number of weld points will be
doubled in the view folder. When the model is ready for release process, unwanted points must be erased manually. No problem with that, just erase all, save again,
and the correct numbers exists in the model. As far I know this problem should be solved in next release of NX.
All Weld points are created in a "Container part" within a Assembly Structure. Surfaces involved are automatically linked as Wave Objects into this Container part.

However, the real problem is the release process when weld points exists in the model.
Settings in File/Utilities:Legacy is activated to enable publishing in TC and Spot Weld and Arc Weld are published.
When releasing: If Baseline is used, a "X" will be visible in the column "Item Rev Status", when listed in Structure Manger
If "File/New/Workflow Process" is used, there will be no sign in "Item Rev Status".

Confusing, which one is correct? Should these underlying objects have any status whatsoever?
Also, a very slow and time-consuming process when releasing a Assembly with lot of components.

Questions: What is the Best Practice working with Weld Points?
How is the workflow in welding supposed to work, NX -> TC -> Release/Working -> ME

Is there anyone who can answer this? Thanks in advance for any input.
