hi all,
iam simulating bond between steel bars and concrete in asimple supported concrete beam subjected to bending ,i'm using translators elements to simulate bond using non linear force -slip relation ship, but when iget results I note that translators elements don't reach to the maximum slip which igave to the programm . they reach to specified slip and then reverse it's direction and slip in the opposite direction they can't reach to the end of the force - slip curve ,iwonder what are the reasons ? can any one help me please
