I am looking for clear tinted polycarb. for sunvisors. I've loked at GE Lexan and the stuff Cadillac sells. Must be polycarb., not plexiglas. I can't buy a carload, else they'd make me up a special... Any leads?

RE: Polycarbonate colors

The company I work for just recently worked with GE to obtain a translucent, colored polycarbonate.  I don't think it adds any UV protection, but I told you that to say it is probably going to be a specially developed item for your application.  I'd be interested to know if you find anything "off the shelf".

RE: Polycarbonate colors

Try www.ashleypolymers.com ; they can help you decide which material is most suitable for your application.
