ABAQUS ERROR: ELEMENT/(FACET NUMBER) PAIRS REPEATED AMONG THE SURFACE DEFINITIONS

ABAQUS ERROR: ELEMENT/(FACET NUMBER) PAIRS REPEATED AMONG THE SURFACE DEFINITIONS

ABAQUS ERROR: ELEMENT/(FACET NUMBER) PAIRS REPEATED AMONG THE SURFACE DEFINITIONS

(OP)
Hi all!

I'm getting the following error while running the job:
THERE ARE 2380 ELEMENT/(FACET NUMBER) PAIRS REPEATED AMONG THE SURFACE DEFINITIONS GIVEN UNDER THE *SUBMODEL,STRESS BASED OPTIONS. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED

I have a submodel part which contains a crack. Global model and submodel are solid 3D parts, and material is linear elastic. Crack is modeled using contour integral option. Loads and boundary condition are appropriately applied for submodel.
I tried to solve this problem by refining the mesh size, to be more precise I decreased the number of elements. This showed some progress because the number of element pairs (mentioned in the error) decreased but I can't go on with decreasing the element size cause this will have influence on accuracy of the results.

Anyone had a same or similar problem? If so, have did you solved it?

Regards,

Anyone have any idea about this problem and how to solve it? I'm still struggling with this one....
