Specialized cut geometry

Specialized cut geometry

(OP)
Hi, I have a model which is a series of cylinders within a rectangle. the cylinders all exit at different angles and geometries. I am trying to cut one side of the rectangle to expose all cylinder faces and have them coplanar with the rectangle. is there a specialized cut geometry I can use?

RE: Specialized cut geometry

I don't know what you try to do. Your decription isn't telling me anything.

A cut can be done with many kinds of geometry. Extruded structures, sweep, loft, etc.
And in the Assembly-Module you can use Merge/Cut for using another instance as cut geometry.

But in general keep in mind: A/CAE is not a CAD program.
