From experience, what are some good materials that have minimum embrittlement and good creep rupture strength during long periods of operation at 1000 deg F? This is for a large diameter duct project.
Also, are there other material properties that I should be concerned with when dealing with long term operation at elevated temperatures?

So you need to know the stresses involved, so you know if it is creep limited.
You also have to consider oxidation damage, both OD and by whatever is in the ID.
If we are just dealing with air, then it straightforward.
A plain steel may not work, it will have metal loss rates of a few mils/year and it will shed oxide scale, though with a treatment it might be fine.
Moving to a 3% or 5% Cr steel would give much higher performance.
If you wanted to go further a low Cr stainless like 409 would have very little damage in this service. It might be worth it in the long term.
