Currently I'm stuck on apdl ansys of hydraulic cylinder where the hydraulic cylinder has one end fixed one end free condition. The cylinder consist of two materials of uniform diameter and certain length. The first material is structural steel and other is hyper elastic material. The hyper elastic material is constrained in x and y direction so that load acts only in z direction that is only axially which would make the hyper elastic material incompressible. I'm using mooney rivlin 2 parameter model for analysis. My problem is I'm getting error in element formulation and again doing the same steps in ansys from scratch i get DOF error. My main objective is to find buckling factor of hydraulic cylinder. Can somebody guide me.
