Nastran Explicit nonlinear simulation error

(OP)
Hi everybody,

I am now using Msc Nastran and Patran to simulate a drop test of a bottle. However, the simulation cannot run. I have checked the f06 file. The following sentences are shown:

M O D E L S U M M A R Y

NUMBER OF GRID POINTS = 2667

NUMBER OF CQUAD4 ELEMENTS = 144

0FATAL ERROR
1 * * * END OF JOB * * *

No Symbolic Replacement variables or values were specified.

Does anybody know how to fix it? The simulation is very important to me as it is a part of my final year project.
Attached please find f06 and bdf file for reference.

Thank you all of you.

RE: Nastran Explicit nonlinear simulation error

As you can see in the end of .f06 file, you have give wrong values for TSTEPNL.

Try to run the file with the following entries for TSTEPNL

TSTEPNL 1 20 1e-3 1 5 10

Thanks jackson, may I know where can I adjust the values for TSTEPNL?
Sorry about that because I am a new user of Nastran.

RE: Nastran Explicit nonlinear simulation error

From where you set it in the pre-processor. Do you use PATRAN or something else?
From where you initially set it. From there, you can edit it. Or, you can simply change the settings to the *.nas file (or dat or bdf etc)
