Is there any free timber pile software or excel?

Is there any free timber pile software or excel?

(OP)
I have Enercalc for timber design but it doesn't have circular section and I don't think I can use it for timber design anyway. It's more for columns and beams.

I have the pdf guide to do calculation manually but a software/excel could come in handy.

RE: Is there any free timber pile software or excel?

If you can do it manually, then you certainly can set up the calcs in Excel. That way any mistakes can be found easily.

RE: Is there any free timber pile software or excel?

Conceivably, you could model the tables (assuming there are tables) and calculations in Excel.

Can you upload your PDF?

@oldestguy, you must be an octogenarian. Septuagenarian here.

Skip: Had to look up that one. Yup, 87, soon another year older. The moniker "old guy" was already used, so this one was selected. Yet to find an older guy here. As to programming by others, many are just too restrictive, but with Excel you can do a lot not planned by someone else.

Skip, now that's a valuable tip to all of us. Cudda used that years ago. Back before Excel I used a different one, but it lost out to Excel.

I still use the Basic programs I wrote on my Timex. I used to argue with my wife over who got to use the television.
