copy drawing sheets loses location reference

copy drawing sheets loses location reference

copy drawing sheets loses location reference

(OP)
I like to compile all my assembly part drawings into one drawing with several sheets. A lot of times whenever I copy the drawing sheet from a part into my multi sheet drawing the dimensions will turn yellow, meaning it lost the dim reference. This happens even though the same part is being referenced from the original and copied sheet. Anyone know why this is and how to get around it?
Thanks

RE: copy drawing sheets loses location reference

How are you doing the copy of the sheets?
Open both drawings, drag the sheet tab from one to the other.

I usually right click, copy, paste to end. I tried dragging sheet into other drawing and I am still losing my dims - turning yellow.
