NX 9.0 Manufacturing> When I'm building a tool, under the HOLDER tab, I can "Export Holder To Library".
Where does NX put this data? Is it in a ".dat file" somewhere that I can open and check?
Please, any help would be appreciated.

RE: NX 9.0 Manufacturing> When I'm buil

Unless your running a customized environment it most likely goes to

C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 10.0\MACH\resource\library\tool\english\holder_database.dat
or
C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 10.0\MACH\resource\library\tool\metric\holder_database.dat

If you want to confirm the export, create a new tool and pick Retrieve Holder from Library, and you should be able to find the holder you exported, and retrieve it to the new tool and check it there.

John Joyce, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. The "holder_database.dat" file is on my system drive.
I was searching for a "tools.dat" and couldn't find it.

Thank you
