Fabric Flat Pattern

Fabric Flat Pattern

Fabric Flat Pattern

(OP)
I am trying to use Fabric Flat pattern to foldout a surface. I can see on the screen that the meshing is not covering the entire surface of the sheet body. I tried to even vary the primary and secondary orientation directions slightly, which improved to some extent, but could not mesh the complete surface. Also tried by varying the ply start point.
The 2D-output curves will have some area uncovered.

1. What is the criteria of selecting the Ply start point?/How to pick the right ply start point?
2. Also the primary and secondary orientation how to find out exactly, such that the mesh covers the entire area.

Please help me on this.

RE: Fabric Flat Pattern

You may need to cut darts in the formed pattern to allow it to adjust to the shape.
