Hello, and a question for NJDOT bridge design.

Hello, and a question for NJDOT bridge design.

Hello, and a question for NJDOT bridge design.

(OP)

Question:

What design programs do you use to design bridges for NJDOT?

I am used to all the PENNDOT programs like STLRFD, PSLRFD, etc.

What is the NJDOT equivalent? Can you use PENNDOT programs?

What would you use for:

prestressed beam

steel beam

abutments

retaining walls

piers

culverts

Of course I can do all these calcs by hand but it's hard to beat the speed and convenience of the PENNDOT programs.

I did design for NJDOT years ago, but back then I used PS3, BAR7 and hand calcs.

Thanks in advance for any help.
