Import assemblies into teamcenter (2D and associated 3D)

(OP)
Hi,

I was able to import a 2D and associated 3D model from native mode to TC10 with NX10

But not with TC10 and NX8.5

Thanks in advance

RE: Import assemblies into teamcenter (2D and associated 3D)

It will work with NX 8.5, but the old import dialog makes it more difficult than it should be.

The exact steps to take depend on what naming rule you are using, but in general you want to import the model and drawing at the same time. When the "output name" dialog pops up for the drawing (during the import or dry run), change the part number and part revision to those of the model, change the type to specification, and enter a part file name for the drawing.

Might be that the usage of Specifications is blocked in your Teamcenter Environment
